In Tokyo, a meaningful dialogue unfolded on the future of automotive and the pivotal role of the youth in driving innovation. Reflecting on past experiences and current aspirations, the conversation with the chairman of a prominent foundation highlighted the ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of innovators.
As an urban expert, I’ve had the honor of contributing to the European report on enhancing quality of life in cities. This work aligns with Interreg Europe’s mission and touches on critical themes like urban mobility, governance, and smart city development. It’s a collective effort towards achieving Agenda 2030 and the SDGs, reflecting a shared commitment to sustainable urban progress.
I’m thrilled to continue as an expert evaluator and observer with EIT Urban Mobility. This initiative is shaping the future of city travel, making urban spaces more livable and aiming to lead Europe’s transformation in mobility. With significant EU backing, the journey towards sustainable urban transit goes on.
