IGEM 2024, in collaboration with Clean Energy Transition Asia and MobilityX, showcased advancements in renewable energy solutions. Solarvest led the clean energy market in Malaysia with its new e-mobility unit, Powerbee. The event featured a diverse international presence, with strong contributions from Chinese companies. These innovations emphasised the crucial role of sustainable technologies in shaping a greener future.
Attending Smart Cities Asia, focusing on urban resilience, digital governance, and AI-driven solutions. Key sessions on cross-sector collaboration and sustainable technologies. Met industry leaders, including from MDEC, as well as global thought leaders from Middle East and Thailand.
Back in Malaysia, I’m excited to re-engage with the region at the Malaysia SDG Summit 2024. The event, suggested by SDG leader Jia Yaw Kiu, featured a rich agenda and exhibition focused on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. I had the pleasure of meeting great colleagues. Looking forward to expanding my network and exploring new opportunities in Southeast Asia.
