In my final week in Malaysia, I participated in two significant events in Kuala Lumpur supported by MDEC: One ASEAN Startup Award (ERIA) and Integrating ESG Principles into Industrial Solutions (Eurocham) . These experiences further fueled my commitment to innovation and sustainability.
The workshop at Bangkok Metropolitan Administration City Hall explored urban resilience, livability, and governance reforms towards 2050. Discussions centered on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and transforming public policies, with participation from Thai, French, and international experts.
Attending Malaysia’s SBTi & Climate Symposium 2024 highlighted action over pledges, emphasizing the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for systemic change. I also had the opportunity to reconnect with Hasrol Rosli, the sustainability visionary from PRASARANA MALAYSIA BERHAD at the event.
