I was invited by New Polis, a global e-journal operating beyond any single regional perspective, to share my insights on how urban data governance is evolving in Europe — and why this evolution matters worldwide.
As a global editorial platform at the intersection of sustainability, smart cities, and quality of life, New Polis curates perspectives that shape contemporary urban governance debates.
This editorial exchange highlights a broader shift: urban data governance is no longer a technical or regional issue. It has become a strategic challenge for cities across continents, raising shared questions around public value, institutional design, and democratic accountability.
Beyond this publication, I am currently engaged in a research program with ERIA: Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia, examining how data governance challenges play out across varying institutional contexts.
My work increasingly positions me as a strategist, aligning urban governance, policy design, and digital systems to deliver public value at relevant territorial scales.
