Shaping the urban age
The GreenCity Investment Forum 2024 (GCIF2024) united experts and investors to transform intermediary cities into eco-friendly, climate-resilient hubs. Hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), the forum emphasized the GreenCity Action Plans (GCAPs), promoting bottom-up projects and capacity building.
Back in Malaysia, I’m excited to re-engage with the region at the Malaysia SDG Summit 2024. The event, suggested by SDG leader Jia Yaw Kiu, featured a rich agenda and exhibition focused on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. I had the pleasure of meeting great colleagues. Looking forward to expanding my network and exploring new opportunities in Southeast Asia.
The workshop at Bangkok Metropolitan Administration City Hall explored urban resilience, livability, and governance reforms towards 2050. Discussions centered on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and transforming public policies, with participation from Thai, French, and international experts.
