The GreenCity Investment Forum 2024 (GCIF2024) united experts and investors to transform intermediary cities into eco-friendly, climate-resilient hubs. Hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Centre for IMT-GT Subregional Cooperation (CIMT), the forum emphasized the GreenCity Action Plans (GCAPs), promoting bottom-up projects and capacity building.
The E-Mobility Asia (EMA), colocated with Sustainability Environment Asia at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, showcased Malaysia’s commitment to sustainable transportation and its ambitious roadmap for electrification to combat CO2 emissions. The National Energy Transition Roadmap targets 80% EV adoption by 2040 and sets specific renewable energy goals.
