At the 19th ITS Asia-Pacific Forum 2024 in Jakarta, the vibrant ITS community gathered to discuss Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). As a distinguished speaker, I fostered enriching dialogues on deep sustainability, urban digital twins, and data governance. Engaging with transportation specialists from Southeast Asia, we explored new horizons for the new Indonesian capital.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thrilled to reconnect with the #ITS<\/a> community at The 19th ITS Asia-Pacific Forum 2024<\/a> #ITSAPFORUM2024<\/a> in #Jakarta<\/a> \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\udde9! Reflecting on my journey since ATEC ITS FRANCE<\/a> \ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7, I\u2019m filled with gratitude for the global fraternity \ud83c\udf10 that\u2019s been a constant throughout my career.

Reuniting with Akio Yamamoto, my director during my time at Toyota Motor Corporation<\/a>\u2019s ITS Planning Division in #Japan<\/a> \ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5, was a highlight. His visionary leadership as president of #ITSJapan<\/a> \ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5 and secretary general of #ITSAsiaPacific<\/a> continues to inspire.

My talk session on the ambitious relocation of #Indonesia<\/a> \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\udde9\u2019s capital to Borneo island, #Nusantara<\/a>, fostered enriching dialogues. I aimed to provide a foundational understanding of deep #sustainability<\/a>, highlighting holistic policies, the evolving potential of urban #digitaltwins<\/a>, and the pivotal role of smart #dataspaces<\/a> in data #governance<\/a>. These leading-edge elements are the foundations of today\u2019s efforts to craft a sustainable #smartcity<\/a>.

In addition, the panel discussion allowed me to emphasise the #social<\/a> aspects of urban #sustainability<\/a>, which are crucial for the inclusive development of #Nusantara<\/a> and its integration with the surrounding region and communities.

The #forum<\/a> also served as a valuable platform to exchange ideas with #transportation<\/a> and #mobility<\/a> specialists from across #SoutheastAsia<\/a> \ud83c\udf0f, especially #Indonesia<\/a> \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\udde9.

I\u2019m hopeful that these new interactions will unfold new horizons in my #career<\/a>, particularly at the vibrant #SoutheastAsia<\/a> level \ud83c\udf0f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
