Since last year, I\u2019ve had the privilege of visiting #Malaysia<\/a> \ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\uddfe, and it\u2019s actually my third time. Each visit has enriched my understanding of this vibrant nation, its colorful people, and its boundless opportunities.

As the month of my #birthday<\/a> unfolded, so did countless chances for exploration and growth. During the #HariRaya<\/a> holidays, I had the pleasure of discovering the picturesque beauty of #PortDickson<\/a> \ud83c\udfdd\ufe0falongside my Malaysian friends.

This year again, <\/a>Anfaal Dhiyana Mohd Ridhuan<\/a> extended an invitation to Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)<\/a>\u2019s #HariRaya<\/a> Digital\u2014an event that seamlessly blends friendship and business. It allowed me to reconnect with remarkable individuals. Among them were #MDEC<\/a>\u2019s VPs: <\/a>Raymond Siva<\/a>, <\/a>Gopi Ganesalingam<\/a>, and <\/a>Ir. Dr. Karl Ng<\/a>.

<\/a>Jordi Pol Ramon<\/a> \ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddf8 whom I met a few months ago in #Barcelona<\/a>, reappeared on my radar. His last invitation to join a #Sarawak<\/a> delegation in Spain promises exciting collaborations. Additionally, I had the chance to reconnect with <\/a>Navin Danapal<\/a> \ud83c\uddf2\ud83c\uddfe, a dynamic entrepreneur. Our discussions delved into the startup landscape in #SoutheastAsia<\/a>, drawing parallels with my previous European mission at EIT Digital<\/a> \ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddfa.

Thanks to <\/a>THELISSON Remi<\/a> \ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7, from Veolia<\/a>, I could attend a thought-provoking panel discussion on #sustainability<\/a>, which took place within the modernist new mall #TheexchangeTRX<\/a>. The topic\u2014\u201cClimate Innovation: Harnessing Nature and Technology to Combat Climate Change\u201d\u2014resonated deeply. <\/a>Ahila Ganesan<\/a> from Think City<\/a>, whom I had previously known virtually, became a real-life connection. <\/a>Anis Mohd Nor<\/a> from Boston Consulting Group (BCG)<\/a> introduced cutting-edge #AI<\/a> solutions, while <\/a>Lavanya Rama Iyer<\/a> from WWF<\/a> reminded us of #SEACAR<\/a>\u2019s impactful launch last year. #SEACAR<\/a>, with its focus on nature-based solutions, climate analytics, and resiliency, aligns perfectly with the discourse from the Asia Pacific Sustainability Week #APSW<\/a>, the regional #COP<\/a> I joined last year.

As I look ahead, I\u2019m thrilled about the myriad opportunities that will unfold\u2014both in #Malaysia<\/a> and across #SoutheastAsia<\/a>.
